Science Day 2016

Science day was held on 4th July this year and it was quite an event! Students were informed of the challenge a week in advance and the task took the form of a competition, between each form in every year group, to design and build the best parachute.

Teacher's Day 2016

Teacher's Day is on May 16th, and in appreciation of the teachers at Straits International School, our Secondary students organised a Hollywood-themed assembly, with performances, awards presentations and even a cake!

Thank you very much to the students in charge of organising and running the assembly, and of course to the fantastic team of teachers who make learning at SIS such a great experience.

Book Week 2016

World Book Week Day Fancy Dress is an annual event in Straits International School. All students are expected to dress up as a character from a novel, poem or play (Mandarin, Bahasa or English). Students will stand a chance to win prizes for those who are judged best dressed.

Twilight Concert 3

Pupils from the instrumental programme and IGCSE course took part in our third Twilight Concert yesterday organised by the Performing Arts department. Over 40 pupils performed to a full audience, with some pupils performing on more than one instrument.
