What we learnt about this week
This week in English, the students wrote newspaper articles based on their completed class reader, George’s Marvelous Medicine.
In Maths, we have been learning how to solve thinking number problems, calculating and measuring time.
In Science this week, we discussed the answers for our exam.
In Humanities, students worked in groups to create tourist, aerial, treasure, world and town maps.
What we plan for next week
In English, students will go to Entopia to find examples of persuasive writing and create brochures and leaflets.
Next week in Maths, we will be revisiting some chapters on bar charts, Carroll and Venn diagrams.
In Science, we will be learning about magnetism and how it works.
In Humanities, students will discover the Anglo Saxons, and learn about their prominance during this period of history.
For English, write and take home your leaflet from PSHE and finish it to include some persuasive writing.
In Maths, students are to Finish Thinking Numbers (2) and do page 97, 99, 102 and 103 of the textbook.
Our Science homework is to complete the worksheets.
In Humanities, research the Anglo Saxons.
