What we learnt about this week
Thank you for your outmost support in the production (Peter Pan Junior) last week. It was truly amazing to see all the parents supporting their child’s performance on stage. We enjoyed their performance and we are proud of them.
This week in Nursery, was all about revising topics learnt in this term. Students practiced writing their letters and reading the sight words given to them this term.
In Maths lessons, students revised and practised writing numbers 1 to 10 and revised concepts learnt this term.
This week has been an exciting week for students in the Nursery class as they took part in a transition day into the Reception class. It was also our Sports Day house competition today. Students in the EYFS were challenged in exciting sports activities. We created a Goodbye Card for our principal, Mr. Charlie who is leaving us at the end of this term.
No homework – Have a fun and safe summer holidays!
What we plan for next week
It will be another busy week where students in Nursery will go for a transition class into Reception. It will be a good opportunity for them to prepare themself for the next academic year. Graduation will take place on Wednesday with dismissal at 12.
How you can help your child at home
- Making sure children are getting enough sleep each day
- Ensuring that reading is done daily for at least 30 minutes
- Encouraging children to love learning
- Speaking and asking your child about the learning at school
Dates for your Diary
10th July: Parent’s evening (no activities)
11th July: Transition Morning and EYFS class party.
12th July: Graduation Assembly- last day with students (dismissal at 12)
As this would be the last blog of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year and it was indeed a pleasure nurturing your children. Time flies fast and they had grown so much that ever we can imagine. I wish them all the very best!
