What we learnt about this week
This week in Literacy students further enhanced their writing skills by making correct letter formations with correct phonics sounds. They even did some games during Literacy time to enhance their phonics skills.
Math lessons were based on mathematical problem solving. Activities for the week focused on getting students to sort objects using several criteria and to sort their own criteria, justifying their choices and explaining what they are thinking and doing.
In Science, the students were introduced to the 3R topic. They were also taught about what is the definition of recycling. Then, they were introduced to some of the recycled items that they could recycle and put in the correct recycling bin.
In Art, the students made a craft for their father. It was a perfume craft. They chose the colour and painted the perfume by themselves. Then, the students decorated the perfume. There were amazing scents and it was priceless!
Thank you for all the kind support on our Father’s Day celebration in school. It was fun and exciting to see all the fathers having a good time with their children. Thank you for taking the time off to attend this event.
